Nutella Oat Power Bite

Looking for a sweet yet filling snack? These nutella oat bits are not only easy to make, but they also provide a great amount of fiber and nutrients.

Oats provide a great source of soluble fiber which may help lower cholesterol while the hemp and flax seeds provide a great deal of both soluble and insoluble fiber, which both help improve digestion.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2-4 tbsp hazelnut spread (nutella)
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 cup crushed mixed nuts
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes

Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into a ping pong sized ball and place on a wax sheet of paper.
  3. Let sit in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle with coconut flakes. Enjoy!

Note: if the mixture seems dry, add 1 tsp of water or more nutella until it reaches the desired consistency.
